no dont write when drunk write when hungover – that’ll really get to the centre of things and allow some digging.. writing when drunk usually comes over as awful when read the following day. hemingway wrote some of his books drunk and it shows. reading when drunk is more pleasurable and sinks into the subconious.
on the flip side, ignore all opinions including mine.
well i don’t actually mean to say literally write every time you’re drunk. it’s more of how i feel when you write you should really express yourself (as it would be from the effects of alcohol)… and well, primarily humor but okay glad to hear your thoughts.
yeh ok.. expressing yourself when sober is much more dangerous tho..
yeah it is dangerous but it’s called vulnerability. it’s kinda like love, the more vulnerable you are to it, the more you are courageous. the more you expose yourself to pain and nakedness, the more beautiful can come out of it.
